All of those that watched the weather and did not get out of bed missed a great day on the range. The rain heldoff until after the match / awards were completed. While it was a little windy, most were able to deal with the challenge. A couple of notables, Wilburn Spiller returned following double knee replacement and Jeffery Cox and Steven Moore (both Juniors) fired their first match. We are glad to have them all with us and look forward to seeing each one for the next match.

The match winner was Rick Crawford with Tommy Williams getting the combined Ma/Ex class and John Thomas cleaned the combined SS/Mk class. Gary Shannon won both the standing and the sitting matches as Rick Crawford took the 300 rapid fire match and Tommy Williams garnered the 600 slowfire honors.

Next month will be the Regional championship for 1999. Saturday will be a 80 shot regional match couse and Sunday will be the LEG match (50 shots without sighters). Make your plans as soon as possible so you will not be left out. Last years match was full and I don't expect this year to be any different. I would encourage you to plan of firing the LEG match and bringing a new shooter also. Let's get those numbers up for this match. All shooters in the LEG match will have to complete the notorized release before shooting. Contact me for a form in advance.
